Parkside Athletics and Director of Athletics Adam Schemm are proud to announce that Head Women's Basketball Coach, Jen Conely has agreed to a multi-year contract extension to remain the leader of the Ranger Women's Basketball program.

"I am thrilled to continue our journey forward with Coach Conely leading our women's basketball program," remarked Director of Athletics Adam Schemm '08. "Jen embodies an unwavering commitment to Parkside. Her passion for the student-athlete experience, tireless work ethic and competitive drive is second to none. I am confident that she is the right coach to lead our program into its championship era."

Conely has been instrumental in the revival of the Parkside women's basketball program since being named head coach in July 2018. Now entering her seventh season at the helm, she has established herself as one of the premier coaches in the GLIAC while developing numerous All-Conference performers and guiding the Rangers through consistent competitive excellence.

"Parkside is home," said Conely. "I'm grateful for having my contract extended! I really appreciate the support from Adam, Chancellor Akey, and our campus community. I'm so proud of our hardworking student-athletes and everything that they've accomplished on the court, in the classroom, and in the community! I look forward to continuing to recruit and coach phenomenal student-athletes that want to pursue excellence on and off the court!"

Conely's exceptional player development has been a hallmark of her tenure at Parkside. Most notably, she guided Alyssa Nelson to three consecutive First Team All-GLIAC selections, culminating in Nelson earning GLIAC Player of the Year, the GLIAC Commissioner Award, and WBCA Honorable-Mention All-America recognition.
