Rose and Palmer Garner GLIAC First Team Honors

BAY CITY, Mich. – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference released their postseason awards on Friday afternoon. The Rangers had two First Team selections in Josiah Palmer and Jack Rose.

Josiah Palmer - GLIAC First Team
After being selected to the All-GLIAC Second Team last season, Josiah Palmer grew his game in 2024-25 to lead to an All-GLIAC First Team selection. Palmer shot the ball at an efficient 42.3% from the field 38.5% from beyond the arc. His strong shooting would lead to him averaging a career high 16.1 ppg. Palmer would record eight performances scoring 20 or more points this past season. He would also lead the GLIAC in assists per game at 4.7.
 
Jack Rose - GLIAC First Team
Jack Rose would take a massive step forward this past season more than doubling his point per game total from 6.8 last season to 15.8 this year. He shot a career best 42.3% from the field and 36.2% from three. Rose scored a career high 33 points against Northern Michigan this season, one of two times the junior recorded 30 plus points this past season. Of his 25 games played, Rose recorded double digits in the scoring column 21 times.
