KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside men's basketball program returns to action this week. The Rangers will open the week taking on Roosevelt on Thursday night with a 7:30 p.m. CST tip. The Rangers will then pivot to Saturday afternoon action against Purdue Northwest. Saturday's tip is set for 3 p.m. CST. Coverage for both games can be accessed at ParksideRangers.com/coverage.

Scouting Roosevelt
The Lakers enter this week's action with a 6-14 overall record and a 3-9 record in GLIAC play. Roosevelt is coming off an 0-2 weekend after playing the GLIAC's top two teams in No. 11 Lake Superior State and No. 15 Ferris State, both on the road.
Roosevelt's offense charge is led by Prater Forte. Forte is the Lakers leading scorer, averaging 17.5 ppg. He pairs that with 3.5 apg and 3.3 rpg. Teammate Enari Thomas is another go to player for the Lakers offensively. Enari is averaging 16.4 ppg while shooting the ball at an impressive 47%.
On the defensive end for the Lakers look to Griffin Yaklich. Yaklich has been a pivotal rebounder for the Lakers, averaging 6.7 rpg.
Scouting Purdue Northwest
The Pride enter this week with a 4-16 overall record and 1-11 in conference play. The Pride's lone conference win came against Davenport back on January 23
rd.
The Pride's offense flows through Collin Albert. Albert averages a team high 15.8 ppg. He shoots the ball at a 39.5% clip. Jailen Nelson has been the key distributor for the Pride as he has dished out a team high 65 assists for an average of 3.3 per game.
Defensively for the Pride Dalton Gayman gets the job done. The big man pulls down an average of 7.4 boards per game. Jailen Nelson leads the Pride in the steals category this season with 27 on the year.
