KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside men's basketball team returns to action this week, hosting two GLIAC contests at home. The Rangers will look to defend the den on Thursday as they will open the week against Davenport. Thursday's tip is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CST. Parkside will return to Haribo Court on Saturday to host Grand Valley State with a 3 p.m. CST tip. Coverage for both games can be accessed at ParksideRangers.com/coverage.

Scouting Davenport
The Panthers enter the week with a 5-17 overall record, and a 1-13 record in GLIAC play. The last time the two sides squared off the Rangers got the better of the Panthers in Grand Rapids, 72-64. Since playing the Rangers back on January 25
th, the Panthers have not captured a victory in GLIAC play.
Davenport's offense is led by Javon Tucker. The senior guard is the Panthers' leading scorer, averaging 15 ppg so far this season. When the Rangers and Panthers met earlier in the season Tucker dropped 24 points, while shooting a hot 10-15 from the floor. Panthers big man Matyas Vrabel has been playing well offensively for DU as of late. He has scored in double figures in his last three contests while shooting over 50% in his last three games.
On the defensive end Tucker has been a key player as well with 23 steals and 11 blocks on the season. Vrabel has been cleaning the boards for Davenport, having pulled down a team high 159 boards for 7.2 rpg.
Scouting Grand Valley State
GVSU enters this week's action after knocking off No. 9 Lake Superior State and No. 16 Ferris State. After those two wins the Lakers moved to 8-6 in GLIAC play and sit a game behind the Rangers who are 9-5. The two sides met in Allendale earlier this season with the Lakers topping the Rangers 59-49.
The Lakers' offensive charge is led by Kaden Brown. Brown averages a team high 13.5 ppg while shooting 39.4% from the floor. He is coming off a 25-point performance in the Lakers win over Lake Superior State. When the Rangers and Lakers met up earlier this season Trevor Smith Jr. was the go to guy for the Lakers, scoring a team high 14 points.
Defensively the Lakers look to Shamus Thompson. The forward has been a key rim protector for the Lakers with a team leading 26 blocks on the season. Smith Jr. has been a menace defensively for the Lakers with a team high 29 steals on the season.
