KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside men's basketball returned to the hardwood on Saturday for a GLIAC contest against Wayne State. The Rangers toppled the Warriors 80-63 to move to 7-5 in conference play this season.

How it Happened
The Rangers came out of the gates hungry. They set the tone early, taking the lead on their first possession and never looked back. A Josiah Palmer three at the 15:06 mark was the start of a massive 11-0 run to distance themselves from the Warriors 22-9. The Warriors would make things interesting, using a late first half 7-0 run to cut the Rangers lead back down to single digits. Parkside would hold the 37-30 advantage entering the halftime break.
Wayne State continued to cut into the Rangers lead in the second half, bringing it as low as six points at the 16:03 mark as the Rangers held onto a 39-33. Parkside would then outpace the Warriors, growing their lead to as much as 19 points. In the end the Rangers would capture the 17-point victory 80-63.
