He has competed at the NCAA National Championships for three consecutive years and is a three-time All-American.
Head Coach
Nick Becker spoke highly of Corrigan, stating, "Shane possesses a tremendous work ethic and is a student of the sport. He is always working to evolve his game and help his teammates along the way. He's one of our leaders in our program and has made a significant impact on others around him. On the mat, he is a point scorer and definitely exciting to watch compete."
Becker also shared his excitement for the group as a whole heading into the new season, saying, "I'm excited for the 13 incoming guys that we had join our program this fall. We have a good mix of veterans and first- and second-year guys. Our veterans have been leading by example and our youth have been hungry to earn a starting spot. It's been a great dynamic early on and I look forward to each and every opportunity our team has to compete this season."
The Parkside Rangers wrestling team opens its 2025–26 campaign on November 1, competing at the Pointer Open in Stevens Point at 9:00 a.m., before taking on McKendree University at the Wisconsin Wrestling Showcase in Madison, Wisconsin, at 5:00 p.m.
