KENOSHA, Wis. -- Parkside Athletics is proud to honor the Ranger Hall of Fame Class of 2025, which includes seven individuals and one team. The Class of 2025 will officially be inducted during a ceremony inside DeSimone Arena on Saturday, October 4. Leading up to the event, we are highlighting each of this year's inductees, and today we recognize wrestling standout Luke Rynish.

Rynish competed for the Rangers from 2007 to 2012 and became one of the most decorated wrestlers in program history. He was a three-time NCAA Division II finalist and three-time All-American, becoming just the fourth wrestler in school history to reach the national finals on three occasions. Known for his toughness, leadership, and consistency, Rynish established himself as a cornerstone of Parkside wrestling during his career.

As a freshman in 2007-08, Rynish enjoyed a breakout season, compiling a 42-16 record and qualifying for the NCAA II Nationals. He set a new Parkside record for most wins by a freshman while leading the team in takedowns, major decisions, and bonus-point victories. The following year, he continued his rise with a 38-11 record, seven tournament finals appearances, and his first All-American honor after placing second at nationals.

After redshirting in 2009-10, Rynish returned with another standout campaign in 2010-11. He posted a 24-4 record, reached the national finals once again, and was recognized as an NCAA II All-American. That season, he also led the Rangers in takedowns and major decisions, ranked seventh nationally in major decisions, and earned first team Academic All-American honors. His teammates named him captain, and he was honored as both Parkside's Male Athlete of the Year and Most Valuable Wrestler.

By the end of his career, Rynish had compiled 104 victories, ranking among the program's all-time leaders. His achievements on the mat, combined with his academic success and leadership, make him one of the greats in Ranger wrestling history and a deserving member of the Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

The Hall of Fame Class of 2025 will be inducted on Saturday, October 4, in DeSimone Arena, and we look forward to celebrating the lasting impact of these Rangers on our athletic history.
