How It Happened:
In the first set, the Rangers received a jolt of energy from Elizabeth Truckenbrod. Karlee Lois set the table for Truckenbrod, who converted three consecutive kills to give the Rangers an early lead. Truckenbrod finished the set with seven total kills, continuing to deliver timely strikes. As the set neared its conclusion, the Dragons led 20-16 and seemed in control. However, Sam Fisch began her big day late in the first set, delivering three crucial kills to help Parkside on a six-point run, pulling them ahead 22-20. Nonetheless, the Dragons persevered and took the set 25-23.

The set ended emphatically, with Marisa Lootens delivering a set-clinching service ace. The Rangers held the Dragons to just 13 points in the set.
Although it seemed Parkside had seized the momentum, the Dragons regained control with victories in the third and fourth sets. The Rangers continued to receive strong performances from Fisch and Truckenbrod, but it wasn't enough to stay in the game.
