Parkside Dominates Lake Erie with Sweep in Home Opener

Kenosha, Wis. - The Parkside Rangers made an emphatic statement in their home opener, sweeping Lake Erie on Thursday night. The Rangers showcased offensive dominance, hitting an impressive .418 as a team. Leading the way was Karlee Lois, who dished out 33 assists and tied her career-high with four service aces.

How it Happened:
The Rangers started the match with a surge of energy in front of a lively crowd at De Simone Arena. Elizabeth Truckenbrod opened the match with an early kill, setting the tone. By the midway point of the set, Ava Irvin had found her rhythm, recording six kills. Karlee Lois, distributing the ball effectively, also contributed three timely service aces, two of which came during her final trip to the service line. The Rangers cruised to a 25-13 victory in the first set, hitting an outstanding .583 as a team.

In the second set, the Rangers continued their dominance. Lindsay Krznarich led the charge, contributing a pair of kills and blocks while adding a stretch of three consecutive service aces for the first time in her career. Elizabeth Truckenbrod was flawless offensively, converting all three of her attack attempts into kills. The Rangers rode this momentum to a 25-16 victory, maintaining full control of the match.

The third set saw the Rangers at their most dominant, as they held Lake Erie to just 11 points. Ava Irvin capped off her stellar night with four more kills, while the Rangers benefitted from 21 Lake Erie errors across the match. Elizabeth Truckenbrod delivered the final blow with a massive solo block, sealing an emphatic win and an electrifying night at De Simone Arena.
