The Rangers
Parkside is coming off a solid and busy week of play. The Rangers played a total of eight games in a seven day span, going 4-4 on the week. The biggest day for the Rangers came on Saturday when the Rangers swept the Wayne State Warriors on Senior Day.
Mia Johnson swung the hot stick for the Rangers during the week. The sophomore carried a .500 average across the eight game span, picking up 12 RBIs along the way to now lead the Rangers in the category on the season with 28.
Ellie Curtis had a solid week on the mound for the Rangers. The sophomore pitched a team leading 15 innings while striking out a team leading 10 batters. Curtis also pitched a dominate performance against Purdue Northwest where she shutout the Pride in the victory.

Grand Valley State

The Lakers enter the week still ranked as the No. 14 team in the nation for week nine. The week ten poll will be released on Tuesday at noon EDT. Click here to access the poll. In the week previous they went 1-3 as they were swept by Wayne State on Wednesday, then earned a split against Ferris State at home on Sunday.
Hannah Hollister is the leader for the Lakers offensive production. The senior leads the Lakers in batting average at .369 and leads the GLIAC in stolen bases with 26. Her teammate, Kelsey Komorous is the team leader in runs batted in with 35.
Series History
The upper hand in the series belongs to the Lakers as they hold the 18-4 advantage over the Rangers. Parkside did take the most recent outing between the two sides, defeating the Lakers in the GLIAC Tournament last year.

Davenport
The Panthers are coming off a solid week of games, picking up the split in doubleheaders against Saginaw Valley State and Ferris State. The program enters the week with a 13-19 overall record and is sitting a game above the Rangers in sixth place in the GLIAC standings with a 4-4 record in conference play.
Davenport's offense flows through Hayley Kreiger. The graduate student is swinging a .351 average with a 1.030 OPS percentage. Kreiger also has 24 RBIs on the season so far, good enough for second best on the squad.
Series History
The overall record between the two ball clubs favors the Panthers 12-5. The Rangers last year swept the Panthers at home.

Ferris State
The Rangers and Bulldogs meet once again a little over a week after their last match up. The Bulldogs and Rangers split in the doubleheader in Kenosha. Read more about that match up here.
Since playing in Kenosha the Bulldogs have gone 4-2 and now sit just above .500 with a 21-20 record entering this week. They will host Northwood in Big Rapids on Wednesday before welcoming the Rangers into town.
Alexis Kozlowski is still leading the way for the Bulldogs. She is now carrying a .370 batting average across 41 games played.
