Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Zeiter's Big Night Not Enough as Rangers Fall to No.13 Bulldogs in Overtime

BIG RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Parkside women's basketball team opened their final week of GLIAC regular season play at Ferris State on Thursday night. The Rangers went toe to toe with the No. 13 Bulldogs as the game would have to go to overtime to decide a victor. The Bulldogs would pull away in the extended period of play, topping the Rangers 91-78.

"Disappointing loss against Ferris State. I am so proud of our team's fight- it was such a good game, really hard to come up short. Whenever two good teams play, you know it's going to come down to the little things- one rebound, turnover, or free throw can make the biggest difference. We did really well on our first possession defense but couldn't finish with a rebound at critical moments," said head coach Jen Conely after the overtime loss.
