After Parkside took the first two sets, Northern Michigan University came back rumbling back to make things interesting. They took set three and extended the game further. In set four, it was an Elle Truckenbrod takeover. The junior compiled six terminations in the set alone. Parkside hit (.333) as a team in the final set, and slammed the door on Northern Michigan. After only securing three wins a season ago in GLIAC play, the Rangers have already reached that mark. This is Parkside's best start since entering the GLIAC in 2018. They stand at (8-4) with a (3-1) record in conference. Parkside continues their home stand this Tuesday against Purdue University Northwest at 6:00 p.m. (CT).
