BIG RAPIDS, MI - The Parkside Rangers traveled through Michigan to conclude their first roadtrip in the GLIAC this season. Parkside entered the battle at (1-0) in conference after defeating Saginaw Valley State University the night prior. Their opponent, Ferris State University was also undefeated in conference. The Bulldogs were picked as the preseason favorite to win the GLIAC this season, capturing seven out of the last nine.
The Rangers were defeated in three sets against the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs were in the driver's seat from the beginning and rode on cruise control until the end. Parkside hit only (.020), while Ferris State hit an outstanding (.350). In all, the Bulldogs had their way all afternoon long (25-11, 25-14, 25-15).
