Track & Field Wraps Up Regular Season With Another Broken Record

The Parkside track & field team closed out their 2022-23 regular season by competing at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa and the Drake Alternative Meet in Whitewater, Wis. The Rangers looked to use this weekend as a tune-up before heading into conference championship week.
 
DRAKE RELAYS RESULTS
The men's 4x800 meter relay team, which featured Tommy Martin, Austin Depuydt, Uriah Aili, and Sean Waldvogel broke the school record with a time of 7:37.24. They placed second in the event.
 
The women's sprint medley relay, which consisted of Victoria Lendal, Rachel Blaskowski, Sonja Mitrovic, Katja Baeuerle, placed sixth with a time of 4:03.81.
 
Katja Baeuerle placed ninth in the 1,500-meter open with a time of 4:25.36.
 
Blaskowski placed third in the long jump with a jump of 5.80 meters.
 
DRAKE ALTERNATIVE RESULTS
Nic Davy placed second in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 10.81 seconds. Brody Nyffenegger placed fourth in the event, with Khalil McClain finishing right behind him in fifth.
 
Max Rahm placed second in the 5,000-meter race with a time of 15:20.57. Jose Monroy finished in third place.
 
Emily Elford placed third in the men's 100-meter dash with a time of 12.79 seconds.
 
Ellery Pleier placed third in the men's 1,500-meter race, coming across the finish line in 3:58.54.
 
Michael Hendrix placed third in the men's pole vault, clearing 4.13 meters. Daksh Arora placed fifth.
 
In the women's 800-meter final, Grace Mildice led the Rangers with a fourth-place finish in 2:20.13. Ella Rondeau placed fifth, with Audrey Amaya placing sixth.
 
Iyana Simmons finished fourth in the women's high jump, clearing 1.53 meters.
 
Isaac Fullmer placed fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:04.93.
 
Simon Dominic placed fifth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.75 seconds.
 
Hallie Hoger placed sixth in the women's 1,500-meter race, finishing in 5:00.79.
 
Erik Johnson came in eighth place in the men's 800-meter race, finishing in 1:58.06.
 
Jack Lehocky placed eighth in the men's high jump, clearing 1.65 meters.
