KENOSHA, Wis. --- Parkside Athletics is excited to host two big giveaway days inside DeSimone Arena for the final games of the 2023 basketball regular season. On Thursday Parkside will host 80's night as Wayne State comes to town for a pivotal GLIAC showdown. Opening tip for the women's game is set for 5:30pm, followed by the men's at 7:30. On Saturday it's Jockey Day at the Games which includes a tee shirt giveaway for select fans! Opening tip-off on Saturday is set for 1:00pm for the women and 3:00pm for the men against Saginaw Valley State.
 
The upcoming games for both of the Parkside basketball programs are critical for seeding in the GLIAC playoffs which begin next week. With two wins the men's program can clinch their first regular season conference title since the 2017-18 season. If the men clinch the title it also means that the Rangers will have home-court advantage for the entirety of the GLIAC Tournament. The Parkside women need just one win over the final two games to clinch a home playoff game in the GLIAC quarterfinals.
 
Thursday night will be 80's night inside DeSimone. Not only are there exclusive student t-shirt and sunglasses giveaways, but we are also throwing back the clock on ticket and concession prices as well! Premium and general chairback seats start at $8. In the concession stand you can get beer for just three dollars. You can also get hot dogs, nachos, soft drinks, and popcorn for just a dollar. Fans can also take advantage of 20% off pricing on everything in the Ranger Store. There will also have prizes valued at $200 for the best-dressed fan and student.
 
Fans can join us on Saturday for Jockey Day at the Games as Parkside women's and men's basketball teams take on Saginaw Valley at 1:00pm. There will be a Parkside tee shirt giveaway for Season Ticket Holders, Giveaway Mini Pack ticket holders, fans who pre-order their tickets in the chairback premium/general seats, and for fans who arrive early to the games (limited supplies). There will also be inflatables for kids to play on between games. Fans are invited to Rustic Road Brewing Company for the last Saturday post-game party of the regular season after the game!
