KENOSHA, Wis -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) have announced their week one athlete of the week honors for indoor track and field. After her performance in the long jump at the Forever Red Alumni Classic hosted by Carthage College, Rachel Blaskowski received GLIAC Field Athlete of the Week honors. 

Blaskowski's performance in the long jump pit has placed her nationally. The sophomore jumped 6.01 on her fifth attempt of the afternoon. The attempt was not only a personal best, but also a school record, and good enough to be the top jump in Division II. Blaskowski also ran the 55-meter dash and posted a time of 7.29.

Blaskowski and the Rangers will return to action in January as they with compete at Carthage College's Firebird First Invitational on the 13th.
