Parkside Downed By Crookston at Home

Kenosha, Wis - The Parkside Rangers hosted Minnesota Crookston in their final game of the 2023 HARIBO Invitational. Parkside started hot, but couldn't handle an impressive shooting performance from Crookston down the stretch. Parkside fell to Crookston by a final score of 67-60.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:

Tight out of the gates Parkside came out firing. Palmer connected on a few triples and Ethan Ivan joined in on the action as well, with a three of his own. Parkside jumped out to a 24-7 lead in the first after Colin O'Rourke knocked down his first shot of the night. In the blink of an eye, Parkside went cold and Crookston ended the half down just three points.

Immediately, Crookston took the lead and put Parkside to the test. Sam DeVault hit some key shots down the stretch, but the shooting of Crookston kept Parkside out of it. They shot 54% from the field and 63% from three in the second half alone. Despite a late three from Palmer, Parkside was defeated by Crookston.

Parkside drops to 2-2 on the season, and resumes action on Tuesday against the University of Missouri - St. Louis. For coverage, visit ParksideRangers.com.
