KENOSHA, Wis. -- The Parkside women's soccer team has just one regular season match remaining on the season. Ahead for the Rangers is a date with the Purdue Northwest Pride in Hammond, Ind. Parkside will enter the match after picking up two draws over the weekend against No. 20 Grand Valley State and Davenport. The matches were highlighted by top teir goalkeeping by
Izzy Guyer who combined for 14 saves between the two matches, as well as sophomore midfielder
Leah Forde bagging her first colliegate goal against Davenport.Â
"PNW is a tough team despite their record so we are going into tomorrow's game focused to play a complete game. We want to get the three points and hopefully move up a spot or two in the standings and have momentum going into the GLIAC tournament," says head coach
Brittany Nikolic ahead of the match up.
With the the GLIAC Tournment quickly approaching, the first round of matches being Monday Nov. 6, the Rangers will need to leave Hammond with three points to have a chance of moving up the table. A win and a Ferris State loss would be enough for the Rangers to slide into sixth place heading into the conference tournament.Â

SCOUTING PURDUE NORTHWESTÂ
The Rangers and Pride last faced down in Kenosha on Oct. 6 in a 2-1 Parkside win in a rain-soaked match. A brace from Alexis Baker accounted for the Parkside goals and Kelsey Gross got the victory in net with six saves. The Pride's lone goal came from defender Brinely Hefty and was her second of the season. Hefty has yet to score since playing Parkside. Â
The Pride have remained winless since facing the Rangers, going 0-5-1 picking up a draw against Davenport in a 1-1 decision. PNW has scored just six goals in the GLIAC so far this season and sits at the bottom of the GLIAC in that category. The Pride's credit of top goal scorer is still under Kaci Pampreen's name. Pampreen's five goals leads the Pride. The senior forward also leads the program this season in game winning goals with two. Â
The Pride currently sit at the bottom of the table in the GLIAC with a 0-11-2 conference record. Despite the record the Pride have played in a handful of close matches.
