KENOSHA, Wis. - The Parkside women's soccer team took to the pitch at Wood Road Soccer Field on Friday afternoon for the last game of their five game home stand. The Rangers were looking end the home stand on a high note as they faced Purdue Northwest, who was winless in the GLIAC so far this season.
Alexis Baker's two goals proved to be the difference as the Rangers walk away with a pivotal 2-1 victory in Kenosha.

The Rangers got going early. In the 5th minute of action

PNW would respond 15 minutes later. Brinely Hefty squeezed the ball through a tight angle passed
Kelsey Gross to level the match. The lead would go back to Parkside 21 minutes later in the 37th minute. A hand ball in the box by a Purdue Northwest player would lead to the player being sent off due to her second yellow and the Rangers being awarded a PK. Ale xis Baker stepped up to the spot and slotted the ball home to retake the lead. The scoreline would hold for the rest of the match.
