KENOSHA, WI - The Parkside Rangers hosted the Davenport Panthers on Friday night at De Simone Arena. After dropping the first set, Parkside never looked back and handled business behind a lethal Ava Irvin performance.

Parkside hit at least (.400) in three out of four sets
After dropping the first set, Parkside never backed down in a dramatic second set. The teams went jab-for-jab, and the set featured 20 tied scores, and five lead changes. Parkside hit (.444) as a team in the second set and Irvin had six kills on ten tries. Elle Truckenbrod, Lindsay Krznarich, Mariena Coon, and Marisa Lootens all had at least three kills each in the set alone. Parkside won the set 29-27.
The third set went a little different, but in the favor of the Rangers. The team got even more production from their sophomore Irvin. She had six kills for the third straight set. The highlight of the set was the brilliant effort by Parkside's defense. They held Davenport to just a (.054) hitting percentage. Coon led the way, forming a wall above the net with a pair of blocks in the set. Parkside won the set 25-20.
In the fourth and final set, it was all Parkside. As a team, they swung (.406) as Krznarich led the way with five terminations. Truckenbrod showed up in a timely way as well, right behind her with four kills. Parkside dominated the set, 25-12 and won the match.
In four set finishes this season, Parkside is (6-1) when playing at De Simone Arena. The Rangers advanced to (12-9) overall, and (6-4) in conference in third place.
