Rangers Compete at MSU Denver Roadrunner Invitational

DENVER, Colo. - The Parkside cross country team traveled to Denver, Colo. to compete in the MSU Denver Roadrunner Invitational on Saturday. Both teams faced a hard challenge, racing at an elevation of 5,279 feet, nearly 5,000 feet higher than the elevation of the Rangers home course, the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha.

TEAM RESULTS
On the men's side, Parkside took fifth place, scoring 146 points. #2 Colorado School of Mines won the meet with 28 points. #30 CSU-Pueblo placed second, scoring 39 points. Dallas Baptist and MSU Denver placed third and fourth, scoring 106 and 108 points.
The women took tenth place in their race, scoring a total of 284 points. #5 Colorado School of Mines just missed achieving a perfect score, running away with the victory and a score of 17 points.

WHO LED THE WAY
Emma Meyer led the Rangers with a 52nd place finish and a time of 24:19.7. Audrey Amaya finished second for the team in 71. Ella Rondeau, Sonja Mitrovic and Katherine Sim rounded out the top five.

On the men's side, Uriah Aili led the Rangers with a 18th place finish with a time of 24:40.1. Grady Davis finished second for the Rangers, placing 41st. Walker Miller finished in 46th place, followed swiftly by the impressive debut of freshman Jose Conroy. Ellery Pleier rounded out the top five for the Rangers with a 55th place finish.
