KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside women's basketball team has announced the addition of
Anna Breuer to their roster. Breuer, a Slinger, Wis. native, is joining the Rangers after spending the 2020-21 season at McKendree.
"We are excited to welcome Anna to our Parkside family!" said Head Coach
Jen Conely, "After graduating two post players last year, it was really important for us to find a versatile forward that can help us on both ends of the floor. Anna is a great fit- she rebounds really well, is skilled, and has the ability to score inside and outside. We had actually seen Anna a lot in high school- we recruited her out of Slinger- and are excited that she's a Ranger."
Breuer will be entering her sophomore year and will look to be a pivotal part of the Rangers front court, as they Rangers will look to her to fill the shoes of GLIAC Defensive Player of the Year
Hannah Plockelman, as well as
Claire Jakaitis, who graduated from Parkside in May.
The Rangers open their season on Nov. 11 as they host Missouri S&T as part of the Crossover Challenge. For more information, visit
