She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and reflexive performance reset certified. "I want to thank Andrew Gavin and the search committee for giving me such a great opportunity," Fehler said. "The last four years here at Parkside have been full of growth for our department and myself. I feel so fortunate to be in a place that has allowed me to grow, stretch, and take on new challenges. They have always found a way to say yes and I'm humbled that they have said yes again."

"I don't view this as simply a job or position, but as a role where I am able to educate, support, and motivate our student-athletes to be their best both on and off the field" Fehler added. "I could not be more excited to make a bigger impact for Parkside athletics."

"A special thank you to Nick Maas for all of your support and encouragement through this process and beyond, always allowing me to be me, and being my biggest fan. To our XC/TF program, thank you for four memorable and rewarding years! I'm excited to stay on staff and continue moving forward together."

During her time with the Rangers, the cross country and track & field program has seen significant growth as Fehler helped coach 13 school record breakers and 35 All-GLIAC honorees during her four year span. At the 2022 Outdoor Track & Field Championships, both the men's and women's teams had their highest finish ever at the GLIAC Championships.

"We're excited to watch a star in college athletics transition into this new opportunity at Parkside," Gavin said. "Carly is passionate about supporting the goals of coaches and student-athletes. Her experiences and competitive excellence will allow her to lead us forward in this role."

Fehler previously worked as a graduate assistant track & field coach at Southwest Minnesota State where she primarily worked with sprints, hurdles and jumps while spearheading the team's recruiting efforts. Before her time with the Mustangs, Fehler was an assistant coach at UW-Eau Claire for two years after graduating. She assisted the Blugold program with sprints and was part of their men's team National Championship in 2016.

Fehler had an illustrious career at UW-Eau Claire, where she was a six-time NCAA Division III National Champion and a seven-time All-American.
