KENOSHA, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Parkside Athletics and UW-Parkside Foundation hosted Parkside Day 2026 on Wednesday, April 22, bringing together the Ranger community for a day dedicated to celebrating, giving back, and making a lasting impact on the student-athlete experience.
This year's Parkside Day proved to be a historic one for Parkside Athletics, as the department achieved record-setting success in both total dollars raised and donor participation. The overwhelming support from alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents, and friends once again demonstrated the strength and pride of the Ranger community.
Parkside Athletics recorded its most successful Parkside Day to date, with 513 donors contributing $190,782 setting a new all-time high in money raised.

Adam Schemm '08. "The record-setting support shown during Parkside Day is a powerful testament to our community's belief in this program and the vision of Wisconsin's NCAA Division II University. The momentum is real, and so is our commitment to ensuring that our student-athletes, can strive for excellence in competition, in the classroom, and in the community. Our community has spoken, and it is clear they are invested in the movement to elevate Parkside Athletics."
The momentum built throughout the day, fueled by the passion and outreach of Parkside's student-athletes, coaches, and staff. The evening's Parkside Athletics Power Hour once again served as a driving force, rallying supporters to make a final push and elevate the day to record-breaking heights. During the 8-9pm timeslot the Parkside student-athletes raised $16,195 with 212 donors during just the one hour.

Jemma Fiehweg, Associate Athletic Director for Partnerships & Development. "From our coaches and administrators to our student-athletes, everyone played a role in making this day a success. We are incredibly thankful to every donor who stepped up to support our programs. Your generosity makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our student-athletes."
