Rasheed Bello's career-high 22 lifted the Parkside men's basketball team to a 79-74 road win over Northwood in the season finale.

With the win, Parkside earned the No. 7 seed and will hit the road to face No. 2 seeded Michigan Tech on Wednesday, March 2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half belonged to Northwood, with the home Timberwolves leading the entire time after they broke the early 2-2 tie. They pushed the lead to as many as 13 in the first half, but Parkside battled back to make it a 4-point Northwood advantage at the break. Freshman
Rasheed Bello's layup with :39-seconds sent both teams to the locker room with a 36-32 Northwood lead.

In the second half, Parkside quickly tied it up and took the lead on a redshirt-senior
Ramar Evans jumper before the first media timeout. With Parkside leading 60-59 with 6:02 to play, the Rangers used an 11-2 run to pull away and never let Northwood back into the game.

Bello went for his career high on 6-of-11 shooting and went 9-of-13 from the line. He also had a team-high seven assists while redshirt-freshman

As a team, Parkside shot 49.1% while Northwood shot 52%. Parkside went +9 in the turnover battle and +12 in points in the paint.
