KENOSHA, Wis.- The Parkside Rangers returned home to begin their final homestand of the 2022 campaign. Their first matchup of the series featured the Bulldogs of Ferris State. It was a special night for the Rangers, as the team recognized
Alyssa Nelson for scoring her 1,000
th career point back on Nov. 18. The Rangers pulled out to a strong lead in the second quarter and rode it to their seventh straight win.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers got out to a slow start and ended the first quarter trailing 11-8. The shots began to fall in the second quarter, as
Hannah Plockelman and
Sheridan Flauger combined for 20 points, leading the Rangers to a 36-26 lead. The Rangers continued to dominate in the third quarter, outscoring the Bulldogs 23-14, extending their lead to 19 points. The Bulldogs began to inch closer in the fourth quarter, but the Rangers defense stood strong and secured the win.

Plockelman led the way with 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists. Flauger finished with a career high 15 points, along with 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Nelson scored 12 points while grabbing 8 rebounds and earning 5 assists. As a team, the Rangers shot 44% while limiting the Bulldogs to a 33% shooting percentage. Adrienne Anderson led the Bulldogs with 20 points.
