Davenport 3, Parkside 2 (22-25, 25-14, 25-15, 22-25, 15-12)
The Parkside volleyball team traveled to Davenport on Friday for a match against the Panthers. The Rangers got out to a hot start, but the Panthers rallied to take two middle sets, before taking the match in five sets.
MATCH RECAP
The Rangers jumped out front early with a 25-22 victory in the first set which was led by Marissa Lootens and
Ava Irvin, with each player earning four kills in the set. The Panthers bounced back in Set 2, riding a six-point rally to cruise past the Rangers 25-14. The Panthers continued to control the momentum in Set 3, as they rolled past the Rangers 25-15. The Rangers offense returned in Set 4, with
Reese Rossnagel notching six kills as she led the Rangers to a 25-22 win to force a fifth set. The Panther jumped out to an early lead in the fifth set, but the Rangers bounced back to tie the set at 8-8. The Panthers proceeded to go on a four-point rally to pull ahead and take Set 5 15-12.

NOTEWORTHY STATS
Rossnagel led the way offensively with 19 kills. Irvin finished with a total of 11 kills.
Karlee Lois finished with 19 assists, while
Alysha Brickl finished with 15.
Maddy Dokken led the team with 23 digs, while Brickl followed with 18 and Lois and Irvin each finished with 12.
Lindsay Krznarich led the team with nine blocks.
