Rangers in Second After Round One in Michigan

AUGUSTA, Mich. – The Parkside Men's Golf team sits in second place after the first round on Saturday at Stoatin Brae Golf Course in Augusta, Michigan.
 
RESULTS
The Rangers were led on day one by junior Aidan Webster who tied his season-low score with a 73 which puts him in a tie for third. Senior Steven Sanicki followed with a four-over 75 and sits in a tie for ninth. Following was freshman Andrew Conrad who is in a tie for 18th with a 76. Senior Danny Sanicki was the final team score with a 77 and is in a tie for 23rd. Rounding out the lineup for the Rangers was senior Chase Fisk in a tie for 43rd with an 81.

NOTEWORTHY STATS
The Rangers were second in the field in total pars made with 53; one less than Ferris State. The team was also second in score relative to par on the par fours with +17.
Webster was a cumulative +1 on the par threes and -1 on the par fives. Conrad was -2 on the par fives for the day. Webster and Steven Sanicki each had 12 pars in the first round.

The Rangers will look to improve on day two and catch Ferris State in order to win another team title.
