SAGINAW, Mich. – The Parkside men's golf team made a huge improvement on day two of the SVSU Al Watrous, which finished up on Sunday afternoon.

"We made an extra effort to finish strong and we did," second year head coach Tyler Wollberg said. "A 15 shot difference from yesterday and the guys know they need to be more consistent throughout the round. All in all, I'm pleased with the team's performance today."
After shooting a 309 as a team in day one, the Rangers finished with a 294 and took 12
th place as a team, moving up three spots in the final standings. Findlay won the invite with a 563 and Jiseung Choi won the individual medal with a 139 (68-71).
Junior
Steven Sanicki led the Rangers with a 2-day total of 146 (74-72), but his twin brother
Danny Sanicki shot a team-best 70 on day two, finishing with a 149 to tie with senior
Matt Unger. Sophomore
Garrett Olson and freshman Tanner Olson, who are brothers as well, each finished with a 160.
The Rangers will stay in the state of Wisconsin next weekend, competing in the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 18 and Sunday, Sept. 19.
