ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Parkside track & field team continued their outdoor season with a trip to Allendale, Mich. for the GVSU Al Owens Classic. There were numerous personal bests for the Rangers, the biggest highlight was
Brock Eves beating a 44-year-old Parkside record in the 1500 meter run with a time of 3:49.62, which is also a provisional qualifying time for NCAA DII National Championships.

HIGHLIGHTS
MEN'S
- Senior Justin Steward took sixth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11:06.
- Freshman Ellery Pleier took second in the 5000-meter run with a time of 15:53.05.
- Redshirt-senior Brock Eves took third in the 1500-meter dash with a time of 3:49.62.
- Senior Jacob Pigeon took second in the 400-meter dash with a time of 47.91 followed by Freshman Josh McLinn in eighth place with a time of 52:15. Pigeon also finished fourth in the 200-meter dash with a 21.90.
- Sophomore Uriah Aili took seventh in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.79.
- Josh McLinn, Uriah Aili, Justin Steward and Jacob Pigeon took fourth in the 4x400 meter relay.
WOMEN'S
- Freshman Lexy Sams placed fifth in the 5000-meter run with a time of 19:08.84 followed by freshman Dijiana Mitrovic in seventh place with a time of 19:45.31.
- Freshman Amber Tomazevic took fifth in the pole vault with a measure of 3.15m.
- Redshirt-senior Amanda Johnson took sixth in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:39.82.
- Freshman Katja Bauerle finished 10th in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.65.
- Sophomore Taylor Hallam took ninth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:09.96.
- Freshman Ella Rondeau took seventh in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 12:05.95.
- Alaura Busch, Katja Bauerle, Amanda Johnson and Sophia Martinez took ninth in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:20.39.
