Ferris State Downs Rangers in Straight Sets

Ferris State 3, Parkside 0 | 25-19, 25-23, 25-17
The Parkside volleyball team had an early lead in all three sets against the 5-time reigning GLIAC Regular Season Champions, but Ferris State was able to come back and win in straight sets Friday night at De Simone Gymnasium.

Parkside, who was without seniors Rachel Hedman, Kendall Holmes and Maleia Ysteboe on Friday, will battle Ferris State once more on Saturday at 2 p.m. Fans can tune in on the Parkside Sports Network.

HEAR FROM COACH BAREA
"I'm really proud of how the team handled a last minute lineup change tonight," third year head coach Leigh Barea said. "We had some other people step up in roles they haven't played in all year and I thought they did a great job. Going into tomorrow, I think we'll be more settled in and ready to compete with one of the best teams in the GLIAC."
