Rangers Close Out Indoor Regular Season at Parkside Triangular

KENOSHA, Wis. – The Parkside men's and women's track and field team were back in action Saturday with their fourth indoor meet of the season. The Rangers hosted the second Parkside Triangular meet at Petretti Fieldhouse.
 
The Parkside men stood out in the 3000-meter run, grabbing the top three finishes. Sophomore Uriah Aili came in first with a time of 8:42.14 14, followed by freshman Johnathan Nowacki, who had a 8:56.84. Grady Davis came in third with a time of 9:01.34.
 
HIGHLIGHTS
Men's
  • Senior Jacob Pigeon won the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.54.
  • Aili won the 3000-meter run with a time of 8:42.14, followed by Nowacki with a time of 8:56.84. Davis finished third with a time of 9:01.34.
  • Redshirt senior Brock Eves won the mile run with a time of 4:16.80, followed by senior Sean Masterson tying for second with a time of 4:31.70.
  • Sophomore Thomas Doherty won the high jump with a mark of 1.90 meters.
Women's
  • Freshman Katja Bauerle took second place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:19.54.
  • Freshman Alaura Busch took third in the shot put with a mark of 8.25 meters.

WHATS NEXT
With the indoor regular season coming to a close, the Rangers will travel to Saginaw, Mich. for postseason action at the GLIAC Indoor Championships next weekend, Feb. 27-28.
