Purdue Northwest 84, Parkside 75
Parkside men's basketball hung around for much of the game, but couldn't get a big shot or a big defensive stop when the team needed it most down the stretch. Sophomore
Solomon Oraegbu finished with a game-high 23 points and seven rebounds for the Rangers. Parkside falls to 8-6 this season while the Pride improved to 7-7.

GAME RECAP
The teams went back-and-forth in the first half, with neither team leading by more than six points the entire half. PNW held the lead for most of the half, taking it over at the 11:29 mark and never letting the Rangers lead again the rest of the game. The Pride took a 37-34 lead into the break after shooting 50-percent from the floor.
Â
In the second half, Parkside got the game within three points on multiple occasions, with the last one coming with 8:02 to play, but PNW followed that with a 12-2 run to push it to 73-60 with 4:28 to go. The Pride iced the game away at the free-throw line from there on out as Parkside's late push never caught fire.
