Box Score Parkside 67, Davenport 60
The Parkside men's basketball team returned to De Simone Gymnasium for a game against the Davenport Panthers.  Both teams got off to a cold start, and the game remained close the whole way.  The Rangers were able to pull away late and earn the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers largest lead of the first half came in the seventh minute when Jamir Simpson made a layup to give the Rangers an 18-9.  The Panthers worked their way back but the Rangers were able to find a way to go into the half with a 32-24 lead.
The Rangers got out to a slow start in the second half, as their first half lead went away in the first six minutes of the second half, and the Panthers found themselves in the lead.  Late in the half, Colin O'Rourke and Simpson hit back to-back threes, and Vinson Sigmon Jr. Followed with a layup to put the Rangers up by ten.  The Panthers tried to battle back but the Rangers held on in the final minutes to earn the victory.

A LOOK AT THE BOX SCORE
Simpson led the way for the Rangers, scoring 22 points.  O'Rourke and Tray Croft each ended with 10 points.  Simpson and Croft led the team in rebounds, with each having seven rebounds.  Davenport's Chris Rollins led the way for the Panthers with 17 points.
