Box Score Parkside 84, Lake Superior State 62
The Parkside men's basketball team began GLIAC play with a trip to Lake Superior State to face the Lakers.  The game was a tight battle throughout the first half, but the Rangers offense found a way to pull away in the second half to earn a big win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rangers got out to a big lead in the first half, leading 31-20 with just over five minutes remaining in the half.  The Lakers found a way to recover the momentum in the last five minutes and ended the half only down by two points. The Rangers built the lead slowly back up to eight points, before a big three-pointer from redshirt-senior Tray Croft put the Rangers up 11 and started the run.  Within the next five minutes, the Rangers lead was up to 21 points and the Rangers never looked back.

A LOOK AT THE BOX SCORE
Redshirt-sophomore Vinson Sigmon Jr. led the way for the Rangers, scoring 22 points.  Croft ended with 16 points, while redshirt-freshman Jamir Simpson totaled 11 points.  Simpson also controlled the glass with a team leading eight rebounds.  Lake Superior States' Xander Okerlund led the way for the Lakers with 17 points.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers will head to Ferris State on Saturday, Dec. 4, for a matchup against the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m.  The Rangers will return to De Simone on Dec. 9 as they host Davenport.
