#20 Michigan Tech 3, Parkside 0
The No. 20 Michigan Tech volleyball team came into De Simone Gymnasium on Friday night and took down the Rangers in straight sets. Parkside will look to bounce back with a 2 p.m. match against Northern Michigan on Saturday afternoon.

SET 1: The Huskies jumped out to a 5-1 lead early on and didn't look back. They went on to use a 10-0 run later on to put it out of reach.

SET 2: The Rangers bounced back from a 4-0 deficit to bring it to 8-7 MTU, but they couldn't grab the lead. The Huskies scored seven of the final nine points.

SET 3: Another big run by MTU gave the road squad a lead early on. Parkside clawed back to make it interesting at 21-17, but couldn't get the run they needed in the end.

Jessica Pappas each had a team-high six kills for the Rangers. Junior
Alysha Brickl had a team-high 10 assists and sophomore
Maddy Dokken had a team-high 10 digs. Michigan Tech finished with a .241 hitting percentage, while Parkside finished at -.038.
