Grand Valley State 3, Parkside 0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-10)
It was all Grand Valley State on Saturday afternoon at GVSU Fieldhouse, as the Parkside volleyball team fell to the Lakers 3-0.

Set 1: The first set went back-and-forth, with both teams trading the lead throughout. Parkside grabbed ahold of a 21-18 lead following kills by senior
Jazmine Neal and sophomore
Jessica Pappas, but GVSU won the final four points of the set to claim the 25-23 win.

Set 2: GVSU Led 16-14 late in the set and kept Parkside down, winning the nine of the final 12 points en route to the 25-17 win and a 2-0 lead in the match.

Set 3: It was all GVSU in the third set, as the Lakers took an early 5-0 lead and never looked back, cruising to a 25-10 victory.

STATWORTHY
Neal led the team with seven kills while Pappas had five and freshman
Lindsay Krznarich had four. Sophomore
Maddy Dokken had a team-high 14 digs while
Lexi Packard added 4.0 blocks.

WHAT'S NEXT
Parkside will finish out the weekend with a road match against Ferris State on Sunday, Oct. 3 at noon. The Rangers return home on Oct. 22 against Michigan Tech at 7 p.m.
