Ferris State 3, Parkside 0 (25-3, 25-18, 25-17)
The Parkside volleyball team closed out a tough weekend on the road Sunday afternoon, where a tough Ferris State Bulldogs team downed the Rangers 3-0.Â

SET 1: The Rangers couldn't get anything going in the first set, as the Bulldogs took an 11-0 lead to open the match and cruised to the 25-3 win.

SET 2: Parkside made some improvements in the second set, but were still never able to lead after FSU took a 5-0 lead to start things out. Ferris State stayed tough, going up 2-0 with a 25-18 win in the second set.

SET 3: The Rangers battled in the third set once again, as a
Lindsay Krznarich kill and an FSU attack error gave Parkside a 12-11 advantage. Unfortunately the Bulldogs ripped off a 7-0 run following the Rangers' lead and ended up winning 25-17.

Jazmine Neal and sophomore
Jessica Pappas each had a team-high six kills, while junior
Lexi Packard had three and freshman
Elle Truckenbrod had three kills and tied redshirt-senior
Ellie Adams for the team-high in digs with 11. Adams also had a team-high 10 assists.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers will have a long road trip next weekend, battling Lake Superior State on Friday night and Northwood on Saturday. They'll return home to face Michigan Tech on Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.
