ASHLAND 83, PARKSIDE 62
Parkside men's basketball couldn't take down the surging Eagles on Thursday night on the road; Ashland has now won seven straight games, with the last loss coming against Parkside on Jan. 18. Redshirt-sophomore
Brandon Hau led the Rangers with 22 points, his third 20+ point performance of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
While the Rangers only led once during the game in the opening minutes, the team hung tough on the road for much of the way. The teams went neck-and-neck in the first half, with Parkside in a one-possession game on multiple occasions. The Eagles ended the half strong and took a 41-33 lead into the break.
Â
In the opening minutes of the second half, Parkside came within three points after a pair of
Joey St. Pierre free throws, but couldn't get that key basket they needed. Parkside came within two points after a Hau jumper made it 46-44, but the Eagles ended the game outscoring the Rangers 37-18.
Â
WHO LED THE WAY
Hau finished the game 9-of-16 from the floor and added seven rebounds with his 22 points. St. Pierre had 12 points and a team-high eight rebounds while freshman
Solomon Oraegbu had eight points and four rebounds.
Â
Parkside finished 42.9-percent from the floor while Ashland went 49.2-percent and got a huge lift from beyond the arc, going 11-of-28 while holding the Rangers to 4-of-19.
