MATCH 1: Parkside 3, Quincy 2
MATCH 2: Upper Iowa 3, Parkside 0
Parkside volleyball used a huge comeback to win the opening match over Quincy Friday morning at the Second Annual Hampton Inn Invitational, but the Rangers were downed by Upper Iowa 3-0 in the nightcap of day one.

HEAR FROM COACH BAREA
"I was really proud of the first match and how we battled back for the win," second year head coach Leigh Barea. "We worked through a match where we didn't play our best, but we were still able to come out with the win."

"In the second match, with Upper Iowa having six seniors on the court and our team loaded with freshman, it was really a learning experience for our team. I hope tomorrow we can use that game as fuel and I hope we respond in a positive way."
