In a game that came down to the final shot, the Rangers fell on the road to No. 21 Davenport as the two teams split the season series. ÂÂÂThe teams were tied 74-74 with 2:05 to play, and the Rangers were forced to foul with :05-seconds to play after missing two go-ahead 3-pointers.
Chavares Flanigan, who finished with a double-double (10 points, 12 assists) missed a tough contested 3-pointer that rimmed out as time expired.

FIRST HALF
The Rangers started off hot, taking an 11-4 lead with 15:12 to play in the half, but the Panthers battled back and took their first lead of the game at the 6:40 mark, taking a 24-22 advantage. Davenport extended their lead to as many as eight, but Parkside made it a 33-30 deficit at the half.

SECOND HALF
The teams went back and forth to open the second half, until the Rangers went on a 7-0 run to grab their first lead of the half at 54-51 with 11:18 to play. The Rangers pushed their lead to nine points, their highest of the half, with 9:05 to play in the game, but Davenport battled back and took a lead with 5:59 to play. Neither team took a big advantage as the game was tied at 74-74 with 2:05 to play, and neither team hit a field goal the rest of the way. Parkside was held scoreless the final 2:05 of the game as Davenport hit three free throws to end the game. Flanigan missed a 3-pointer with :20-seconds to go, followed by an
Adam Bonk miss and a Davenport trip to the free-throw line.

Five Rangers scored in double-figures, as
Joey St. Pierre finished with his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Adam Bonk his four 3-pointers for 14 points and the trio of
Brandon Hau,
Brandon Trimble and Flanigan had 10 points. Flanigan finished with a career-high 12 assists and four steals.

The Rangers next three games are on the road, as Parkside will finish the weekend at Grand Valley State on Saturday. Next weekend, the Rangers will face Wayne State on Thursday and Ashland at 2 p.m.
