The Parkside volleyball team got stronger as the match went on against NMU, but the Wildcats came away from DeSimone Gymnasium with the 3-0 (25-18, 25-20, 26-24) win over the Rangers. Parkside returns home for a pair of matches next weekend.Â

MATCH RECAP
In the first set with a tie score of 4-4, NMU ripped off six straight points to take a 10-4 lead and the Rangers never recovered. In the second set, the Wildcats again took the early lead and held on throughout the match. Parkside made a comeback and brought it to 18-16, but couldn't overcome the Wildcats' lead.

Rachel Hedman led the team with 11 kills, while freshman
Reese Rossnagel had eight kills and sophomore
Jazmine Neal had six. Senior
Carlee Behnke finished with a career-high 8.0 blocks while Neal had 4.0. Freshman
Alysha Brickl had a team-high 21 assists while senior
Ann Leo led the team with 15 digs.
