The tough Ashland squad made quick work of Parkside, taking this one in straight sets 25-10, 25-13, 25-15 to improve to an impressive 14-2 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the GLIAC. Ashland and Ferris State are the only undefeated teams left in conference play. Parkside earned a hard-fought five set win over Wayne State on Friday night.

Katie Adams had four. Adams led the team in assists with 14 while
Ann Leo had 18 digs to lead the way. Ashland won the kills battle 41-24, blocks 7-5, digs 57-45 and assists 35-21.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Rangers have a long road trip next weekend, as the team heads to University Center, Mich., to face Saginaw Valley State on Friday night at 6 p.m. followed by a Saturday game at Lake Superior State. Parkside is back home again on Oct. 5 & 6.
