Moore finished with 25 points and was red-hot shooting, going 9-for-12 from the floor, 3-for-3 from beyond the arc and 4-for-5 from the line. It was his fifth 20-point game of the season and third in his last five games.
Truman State, who improved to 16-8 overall and 11-4 in the GLVC, opened the game up in a huge way, taking a 20-0 lead before Moore hit a pair of free-throws to end the 8:00 Parkside ascoring drought. After the big Bulldog run, the Rangers answered with a 13-3 run of their own that included eight points from Moore. However, Truman State came right back with a 9-0 run and took a 40-27 lead into the break. Parkside cut the Bulldog lead down to eight points early in the second half, but that was as close as they'd get, as Truman State hit some timely shots to shut down any Ranger attempt at a comeback.
After Moore's 25 points, the Rangers were balanced, as
Joe Borcia finished with nine,
Espen Fjaerestad had eight and
Jonah Matulle had six. TSU shot 56.7-percent while holding the Rangers to 40.7 and outrebounding Parkside 34-30. The Bulldogs finished with 19 assists while the Rangers had eight.
With just three games left in the season, Parkside will finish the week out at Drury on Saturday, Feb. 17 before returning home for Senior Night next Thursday.
