Wayne State 3, Parkside 0
Parkside volleyball finished out its final road match of the 2018 regular season on Saturday, but the Rangers fell in straight sets to Wayne State. The Green & White returns home next weekend for a pair of matches to close out the regular season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Parkside kept it close in all three sets, but the Warriors prevailed 25-23, 25-21, 25-22 to earn the three-set victory. In the first set, the Rangers had it tied up 20-20, but Wayne State used a quick 3-0 run to take a 23-20 lead and hold on. In set two, again the Rangers were tied late, this time at 18-18, but another 3-0 run helped Wayne State to the win. In the final set, the Green & White held a 19-17 lead but the Warriors stormed back for the win.

WHO LED THE WAY
A pair of Rangers finished with nine kills in
Rachel Hedman and
Katie Adams while
Lexie Calloway led the way in digs with 14.
Carlee Behnke finished with 5.0 blocks while Adams had 4.0 and
Elizabeth Mavis/
Jazmine Neal each had 3.0.
Emma Habisch had a team-high 17 assists while Adams had 12.

WHAT'S NEXT
The final week of the regular season is here for Parkside, as the Rangers play host to Grand Valley State on Friday night and Davenport on Saturday afternoon. Saturday will be senior day for the Rangers, so be sure to get to DeSimone as Parkside sends off seniors
