SOMERS, Wis. – UW-Parkside men's basketball hit a season-high 18 3-pointers en route to a lopsided 103-57 win over Robert Morris-Peoria Saturday afternoon at DeSimone Gymnasium.

It was all Rangers all the time in this one, as Parkside jumped out to a 19-2 lead early and the Eagles never brought it close again. In the early going, the Rangers connected on five 3-pointers in the first 5:00 to put the pressure on. The Rangers went on runs of 11-0 and another 11-1 run to end the half with a 60-22 lead. After the first half, Parkside was shooting 12-of-22 from beyond the arc and committed just one foul. The second half was more of the same, as the Rangers outscored the Eagles 43-35 and shot 50-percent (6-of-12) from 3-point range.
Six Rangers finished in double-figures, with Bret Barclay recording his first career double-double on 17 points, 10 rebounds and five assists. Jameel Moore went for 17 points and five assists while Adam Bonk scored 16 points and hit four 3-poitners, extending the streak of hitting multiple 3-pointers in every game this season. Linwood Lee finished with 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc while Espen Fjaerestad finished with 11 points and Jonah Matulle went for a career-high 10.
Parkside tallied 29 assists, which was also a season high and the third time this season they've went for 20 or more. The 18 made 3-pointers tied the most in the last 27 games dating back to a 117-83 win over Indiana Northwest on Dec. 29, 2016.
The Rangers will take the midweek off, but will travel to face Division One Green Bay on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m. before returning home to face Judson on Thursday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m.
