GREEN BAY, Wis. – The UW-Parkside men's basketball team had a cold shooting night on the road against division one foe Green Bay Saturday night, helping the Phoenix to an 86-50 win at the Resch Center.

The Green Bay defense clamped down on the Rangers, holding the team to 33-percent shooting overall and a 22.7-percent mark in the first half. The Phoenix used an 18-2 run in the middle of the first half on their way to a 52-20 lead at the break. The second half proved to be friendlier to the Rangers, as Espen Fjaerestad and Jameel Moore came out and hit back-to-back 3-pointers after Parkside failed to make one in the first half.
The Green & White hung tough in the second half, as the Phoenix narrowly outscored Parkside 34-30. The Rangers shot 42.9-percent in the second half and hit four 3-pointers. Moore led the way for Parkside, going for 13 points while the trio of Ramar Evans, Bret Barclay and Goran Zagorac all scored seven points. It was Zagorac's first action of the season for the Rangers.
Parkside will take the holiday break off until the 28th when Judson comes to town for a 7 p.m. tilt at DeSimone.
