SOMERS, Wis. – On a hot-shooting night, the UW-Parkside men's basketball team dominated Trinity International Saturday afternoon at DeSimone Gymnasium by a score of 106-71. The Rangers point total was the highest this season and highest since scoring 117 against Indiana Northwest last season on Dec. 29, 2016.

The Rangers (1-6) finished the game shooting 64.5-percent (40-of-62) from the floor and 56-percent (14-of-25) from beyond the arc. Four players finished in double-figures as Joe Bocia led the way with a career-high 21 points on 10-of-12 shooting. Adam Bonk scored 16 points and went 5-of-7 from 3-point range. He entered the game as the No. 15 ranked 3-point shooter in the nation in terms of percentage. He's made multiple 3-pointers in every game this season and hit a season-high five against the Trojans. Jameel Moore also scored 18 points while Ramar Evans added 12.
The Rangers moved the ball extremely well, finishing the game with 26 assists on 40 made field goals. Linwood Lee finished with a career-high six assists while Moore, Bocia and Evans all had four.
Parkside took a 10-point lead just 5:00 in to the game and the Trojans couldn't get within seven the rest of the way. The Green & White held a 52-39 lead at the half and outscored the Trojans 54-32 in the second half.
