Jameel Moore's Career-High Isn't Enough at Northwood

Parkside owned a 41-37 lead at the break after shooting 50-percent from the field and 7-for-11 from beyond the arc. The teams went back and forth in the first half, with a largest lead of five points by either team. Espen Fjaerestad hit a 3-pointer right at the end of the half to give the Rangers a 4-point advantage. The Timberwolves saw a 12-0 advantage go their way in the first 10 minutes of the second half and the Rangers couldn't recover, never getting back to a one-possession game after.

Jameel Moore went for a career-high 20 points and went 10-for-11 from the free-throw line. He also tallied five rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Two other Rangers finished in double-figures, as Goran Zagorac scored 13 points and Adam Bonk finished with 11. Bonk continued his streak of scoring in double-figures and hitting multiple 3-pointers in every game this season.

Northwood got a huge lift in the rebounding battle, winning 41-25 and scoring 15 second chance points to Parkside's one. The Rangers finished shooting 42.3-percent as a team, went 8-for-16 from beyond the arc and hit a season-high 16 free throws.

The Green & White has now entered a stretch where seven of its next eight games are at home, including a pair of games before the New Year. First the Rangers host Judson at 7 p.m. on Dec. 28 and then as No. 5 Ferris State comes to town for a 3 p.m. game on Saturday, Dec. 30.
