Indianapolis, who is receiving votes in both national polls this week, outscored the Rangers 34-22 in the first half, but Parkside made a late comeback. Linwood Lee went 2-for-2 from the line with 4:09 remaining to make it a 3-point game, but the Greyhounds followed the Rangers quick 6-0 run with a 9-2 run of their own in the closing minutes.
Two players finished in double-figures for Parkside, as Jameel Moore scored 13 points and led the team with five assists and Adam Bonk scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc. Bonk has now scored in double-digits in every game this season.
It was a defensive battle throughout, as Indianapolis held the Rangers to 31.5-percent shooting while Parkside held the Greyhounds to 25-percent shooting from 3-point range and allowed Indy to get to the free-throw line just nine times. The Greyhounds won the rebounding battle 39-24.
Parkside is back in action this weekend, hosting Trinity International on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. in DeSimone. The Rangers will also hit the road to face UIC on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
